We're working with a well-established and highly regarded chartered accountancy firm in Croydon who are looking to expand their growing tax team. With around 30 staff and excellent staff retention, this firm offers a stable and collaborative environment where people genuinely enjoy coming to work.

You'll be joining a close-knit tax team, taking ownership of a varied personal tax portfolio and building long-term relationships with clients. This role is ideal for someone who's ambitious, proactive, and looking for clear progression - with a view to stepping into a Tax Manager position in the near future.

What you'll be doing

• Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, including HNWI, directors, and sole traders
• Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns
• Assisting with ad hoc advisory and planning work as you progress
• Liaising directly with clients and HMRC
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a personal tax role within an accountancy practice
• ATT qualified or working towards qualification (ACA/ACCA or CTA support available if desired)
• A positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Keen interest in developing into a Tax Manager role in the near future
