Qualifications

• Experience in personal tax within an accountancy practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, preparing and submitting self-assessment tax returns.
• Deal with personal tax queries and provide practical advice on routine tax matters.
• Maintain regular contact with clients and build effective working relationships.
• Prepare and process payroll for a selection of clients, including submissions and queries.
• Act as a point of contact for general client enquiries and signpost to colleagues when needed.
• Liaise with the accounts team on matters affecting clients' tax affairs.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure personal tax work is completed accurately and on time.
