PRO-TAX RECRUITMENT LIMITED in Hitchin is seeking a Personal Tax Assistant / Personal Tax Semi-Senior to join a growing accountancy practice's tax team. The role offers ATT study support and a clear path to progression.

You will prepare personal tax returns, gather client information, liaise with clients, support senior professionals, and develop your technical tax knowledge while managing your own client portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience within a tax or accountancy environment.
• Exposure to personal tax compliance work.
• Willingness to work full-time from the Hitchin office.

Responsibilities

• Preparing personal tax returns for a diverse range of clients.
• Gathering, reviewing and processing client information.
• Liaising with clients to obtain outstanding records and resolve queries.
• Assisting senior tax professionals with compliance and advisory assignments.
• Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Developing your technical tax knowledge through practical experience and professional studies.
• Progressively taking ownership of your own client portfolio.
