Personal Tax Manager - Hybrid, Flexible, Reduced Hours, Bristol

Role Overview

The successful candidate will join an experienced team, reporting to an Associate Director, managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, and contributing to estate planning and advisory services. The role involves mentoring junior staff, building client relationships, and supporting business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Managing a diverse portfolio of personal tax compliance clients
  2. Identifying tax planning opportunities and delivering advisory services
  3. Participating in estate planning services for clients
  4. Training and mentoring trainees within the team
  5. Maintaining trusted client relationships
  6. Overseeing financial management of your portfolio
  7. Contributing to the firm's business development efforts

Qualifications and Skills

  • ACA and/or CTA qualified
  • Experience in personal tax compliance and estate planning
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in tax planning and delivering advisory services
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Leadership and mentoring experience
  • Commercial awareness and business development skills
  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset
