Job summary

Campbell Grove Talent Ltd is seeking an Assistant Tax Manager near Leeds to join an established practice. You will manage a personal portfolio and work closely with the Tax Partner and senior team.

The ideal candidate is qualified or studying ATT/CTA/ACA/ACCA with strong personal tax compliance experience, ready to take on more responsibility and contribute to long-term development in a friendly firm.

Qualifications

• Qualified or studying towards ATT/CTA/ ACA or ACCA.
• Experience in personal tax compliance.
• Ability to manage own portfolio and liaise with HMRC.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review self assessment tax returns and tax computations
• Support clients with Capital Gains Tax queries and calculations
• Liaise with HMRC and dealing with queries
• Prepare trust, estate and partnership returns
• Spot tax planning opportunities and get involved in advisory work
• Review work and mentor more junior members of the team
• Build strong, long-term relationships with clients
