Exciting opportunity for a Personal Tax Manager to join a modern and well-respected firm of Chartered Accountants in Wakefield.

This firm is a fantastic success story, having grown significantly since inception to now offering their clients a range of services including Audit, Tax, Accountancy and Outsourcing.

This firm has a wide range of individuals working for them and they are now keen to expand their existing team with a Personal Tax Manager.

As a Personal Tax Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients (individuals and partnerships) in relation to their personal tax returns.
  • Regularly meeting with and speaking to clients to ensure the provision of a knowledgeable and professional level of service
  • Dealing with P11D benefits forms
  • Dealing with HMRC queries and letters
  • Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation
  • Assisting in the development of less experienced colleagues, providing training/instruction where needed and reviewing the work of junior colleagues


To qualify for this Personal Tax Manager opportunity:
  • An experienced personal tax professional currently working within an Accountancy firm.
  • Ideally ATT qualified or qualified by experience.
  • Able to convey specialist knowledge in an understandable manner
  • Strong team player, willing and able to share knowledge and experience with more junior colleagues
  • Able to manage own workload and meet deadlines in an autonomous role
