The Role:

As a Personal Tax Manager, you will join a collaborative, high-performing tax team. You will manage a private client portfolio, providing compliance and advisory services, and play a key role in mentoring junior staff and contributing to departmental initiatives.

Requirements

• Manage your own portfolio of private clients, primarily handling self-assessment tax returns and related advisory work.
• Provide advanced personal tax planning, including IHT, CGT, and Trust advice.
• Supervise and support junior team members in their work on your portfolio.
• Participate in departmental strategy, including training, development, and process improvements.
• Handle billing, WIP management, and administrative tasks.
• Potential line management responsibilities, depending on experience.
• Salary circa £60,000 - £67,500 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
• ATT and/or CTA qualified.
• Strong technical knowledge in personal tax and related planning.
• Proven experience in supervising or managing team members.
