Job Opportunity: Private Client Tax Senior

Top 20 firm of Chartered Accountants, Tax and Business Advisers, is seeking a Private Client Tax Senior to join their dynamic team. They serve a diverse client base, including entrepreneurs, individuals, and multinational corporations.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assess the tax impact of various pieces of information.
  2. Prepare and generate tax returns using tax software.
  3. Follow up with clients through chasing letters and address queries.
  4. Draft and send letters to clients detailing liabilities and tax-saving opportunities.
  5. Review and amend correspondence as necessary.
  6. Send signed documents and tax returns to clients and HMRC, and log all communications.
  7. Communicate with HMRC on behalf of clients.
  8. Inform clients of tax liabilities and reconcile these with HMRC statements.
  9. Prepare HMRC forms such as P35, P11D, ensuring deadlines are met.
  10. Prepare client bills when applicable.
  11. Coach junior staff and delegate tasks effectively.
  12. Identify and advise on tax planning opportunities.
  13. Assist with consultancy projects and research activities as needed.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Minimum three years of experience in a personal tax team within an accounting practice.
  • ATT qualified or currently undertaking ATT/CTA qualifications.
  • Proven experience in preparing personal tax returns.
