TC Group is seeking a motivated Personal Tax Associate in the UK to manage personal tax compliance and develop advisory skills. You will work with the Head of Tax and advisory colleagues, progressing through mentoring and study support toward ATT/CTA qualifications.

The role focuses on Self‑Assessment returns for directors, business owners, landlords and partners, with the opportunity to grow into broader tax advisory work.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ personal tax compliance experience within an accountancy practice.
• Experience preparing Self‑Assessment tax returns.
• Good understanding of UK personal taxation.
• ATT qualified or part‑qualified.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit Self‑Assessment tax returns for directors, business owners, high‑net-worth individuals, landlords, partnerships and LLP members.
• Review client information, identify gaps and calculate tax liabilities.
• Managing correspondence and routine HMRC enquiries.
• Monitoring workflows and meeting filing deadlines.
• Preparing capital gains tax computations and disclosures.
• Supporting trust and estate tax compliance where required.
• Build strong client relationships and deliver excellent service.
