This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced tax professional looking to take the next step in their career with a supportive and forward-thinking firm.

About the Company:

Our client is a well-established, reputable accountancy firm known for providing a wide range of high-quality financial and tax services to individuals, SMEs, and larger businesses. Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients, including high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and other private clients.
  • Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Advising clients on a wide range of personal tax matters, including income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and other tax planning opportunities.
  • Supporting junior team members, reviewing their work, and providing mentorship and training as needed.
  • Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients, resolving any issues and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance client service and grow the firm’s tax portfolio.
  • Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and regulations and ensuring compliance.
Requirements

Requirements:

  • ACA, ACCA, ATT, or CTA qualified (or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in personal tax, ideally within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong technical knowledge of personal tax compliance and planning.
  • Proven experience in managing a client portfolio.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Leadership qualities, with experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
