What You’ll Be Doing:

You will be an integral part of the Long Term Care team at Glen Rouge, working in a fast-paced environment to make a meaningful difference. Your responsibilities include forming deep relationships with residents and their families, supporting their daily health and well-being through various programs and services, and contributing positively to the community culture.

How You’ll Succeed:

1. Provide Resident Supervision and Assistance: Support residents with activities of daily living, including eating, dressing, hygiene, and grooming, following individual care plans.
2. Provide Resident Care and Services: Encourage communication and connection, assist with mobility aids, administer medication with proper training, and support cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual needs. Promote participation in resident programs.

Who You Are:

• Compassionate and dedicated to supporting seniors in living full lives
• Completed a Personal Support Worker program or an equivalent nursing degree
• Detail-oriented with proficiency in basic treatments and bedside care
• Diplomatic in interactions with seniors, families, and visitors
