Salary Range: $29.61 - $29.93 /hour
The Geriatric Psychiatry Program adopts the Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery Model as its philosophical framework. This emphasizes client and family involvement in decision-making, client choice, and a range of services to meet treatment, rehabilitation, and support needs. The program is committed to achieving the best outcomes based on clients' preferences, wishes, desires, and life plans.
The program serves patients with severe and persistent mental illness, responsive behaviors, and co-morbid medical conditions. The H2 (Behavioral Health Unit) provides assessment and treatment for individuals with moderate to advanced dementia exhibiting responsive behaviors. The G2 (Geriatric Mental Health Unit) offers assessment and treatment for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
It is understood that work hours reflect current scheduling arrangements and are subject to change as determined by the Employer.
