Job summary

Are you an experienced Support Worker who is passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care and making a genuine difference in people’s lives?

We are looking for reliable, compassionate and experienced Support Workers to join our friendly team. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who already has experience in care or support work and is looking to develop their career within a supportive environment.

What you’ll be doing

As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support, promoting the dignity, independence, choice and wellbeing of the people we support.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality personal and practical support
• Supporting individuals with their daily routines and activities
• Promoting independence, confidence and choice
• Providing emotional support and companionship
• Supporting individuals to access the community and participate in activities
• Following individual care and support plans
• Maintaining accurate and confidential records
• Working closely with colleagues, families and other professionals
• Responding appropriately to individual needs and changes in wellbeing

About You

We are looking for candidates who have previous experience working as a Support Worker, Care Worker or in a similar care setting.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in a care or support worker role
• A genuine passion for supporting others
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, respectful and compassionate approach
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
• A commitment to providing high standards of care
• The ability to follow care plans, policies and procedures

Relevant qualifications such as Health & Social Care or a care-related qualification are desirable.

Previous care or support work experience is desirable, but full training and support will be provided.
