Job Description

As a Personal Shopping Consultant, you will deliver an extraordinary customer experience while meeting sales and profit targets. Develop a client engagement strategy and work cross-functionally to execute it to the highest standard.

In this role, you will:

  1. Nurture and develop relationships to generate new business with a focus on international, high potential, and high net worth clients.
  2. Recognize potential events either in-store or offsite to further our client base and proactively approach individuals and corporations.
  3. Generate ideas and implement plans to develop business opportunities, driving productivity, sales, and profit across your own and concession businesses.
  4. Demonstrate a commercial mindset to stay responsive to customer needs, sharing inspiration, and developing a commercial outlook within your team.
  5. Monitor customer satisfaction and spend, suggest improvements where necessary, and keep ahead of competitors.
  6. Partner with key stakeholders at store events and through other commercial opportunities (CNY, Eid, Christmas, Football pop-ups).
  7. Act as an ambassador for Selfridges Personal Shopping, representing our brand at events to promote products and services.
  8. Follow health, safety, and security procedures.
  9. Interact positively with clients by answering queries and guiding them on our services, enabling them to choose the most suitable options.
  10. Maintain customer care by responding to inquiries, booking, and following up on deliveries and alterations.
  11. Prepare client rooms, maintain housekeeping standards, and ensure a welcoming environment.
  12. Collaborate confidently with various departments to deliver exceptional service and standards.
  13. Stay updated on latest trends and expand product knowledge.
