Job Description
As a Personal Shopping Consultant, you will deliver an extraordinary customer experience while meeting sales and profit targets. Develop a client engagement strategy and work cross-functionally to execute it to the highest standard.
In this role, you will:
- Nurture and develop relationships to generate new business with a focus on international, high potential, and high net worth clients.
- Recognize potential events either in-store or offsite to further our client base and proactively approach individuals and corporations.
- Generate ideas and implement plans to develop business opportunities, driving productivity, sales, and profit across your own and concession businesses.
- Demonstrate a commercial mindset to stay responsive to customer needs, sharing inspiration, and developing a commercial outlook within your team.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and spend, suggest improvements where necessary, and keep ahead of competitors.
- Partner with key stakeholders at store events and through other commercial opportunities (CNY, Eid, Christmas, Football pop-ups).
- Act as an ambassador for Selfridges Personal Shopping, representing our brand at events to promote products and services.
- Follow health, safety, and security procedures.
- Interact positively with clients by answering queries and guiding them on our services, enabling them to choose the most suitable options.
- Maintain customer care by responding to inquiries, booking, and following up on deliveries and alterations.
- Prepare client rooms, maintain housekeeping standards, and ensure a welcoming environment.
- Collaborate confidently with various departments to deliver exceptional service and standards.
- Stay updated on latest trends and expand product knowledge.
