As a Personal Shopping Consultant, you will deliver an extraordinary customer experience while meeting sales and profit targets. Develop a client engagement strategy and work cross-functionally to execute this to the highest standard.

Responsibilities include:

  • Nurturing and developing relationships to generate new business, focusing on international, high potential, and high net worth clients.
  • Recognizing potential events in-store or offsite to expand our client base and proactively approaching individuals and corporations.
  • Generating ideas and implementing plans to develop business opportunities, driving productivity, sales, and profit across own bought and concession businesses.
  • Demonstrating a commercial mindset to stay responsive to customer needs, sharing inspiration, and developing a commercial outlook within the team.
  • Monitoring customer satisfaction and spend, suggesting improvements where necessary.
  • Partnering with key stakeholders at store events and other commercial opportunities (e.g., CNY, Eid, Christmas, Football pop-ups).
  • Representing Selfridges Personal Shopping internally and externally at events to promote our products and services.
  • Following health, safety, and security procedures.
  • Interacting positively with clients, answering queries, and guiding them on our services to ensure the most suitable options.
  • Maintaining customer care through follow-ups, bookings, and client alterations.
  • Preparing client rooms, maintaining housekeeping standards, and ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Collaborating with various departments to deliver exceptional service and standards.
  • Staying updated on the latest trends and expanding product knowledge.
