Job description

We are currently recruiting for a well-known independent broking group, with a big presence across the South West, that has shown impressive organic growth over the last couple of years and who offer a great place to work for those who wish to progress their insurance career.

This Broker is now keen to appoint a new Personal Lines Account Handler to their team, in their Weston Super Mare office.

They are keen to speak with you if you have at least 12 months personal lines insurance experience, and will consider those currently working for an insurer.

The firm specialises in providing bespoke insurance solutions to a diverse range of customers and generates a great deal of referral business as a result of its professional approach. They offer a stable place for your career to thrive and are keen to speak to you if you want a career and not just a job. They also have a very low turnover of staff, so opportunities to join them come up very rarely, and this is solely down to business growth.

The role itself will be very much focused on new business quotes, though you will also get to handle some existing business here too. They operate in an entrepreneurial way, so you will always be looking to cross-sell and upsell!

To be considered for this role, you will need at least 12 months experience gained in personal lines insurance.

You will be highly professional with a confident demeanour, as well as being extremely driven and highly ambitious.

Salary on offer here is GBP25-27k basic, dependent on experience, plus pension and an annual bonus based on new business targets.

Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm; however, they offer flexi-time, so you can work 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, or 10am-6pm to suit. They also offer a hybrid working environment, with staff able to work from home up to 40 days a year.
