Job description

Honeycomb is delighted to partner with a renowned, family owned insurance brokerage company to recruit for a Personal Lines Customer Advisor. This role would suit someone who'd like to join an expanding business, and who wants to get rewarded for a job well done.
The Client
Our client is one of the most renowned, family run insurance brokers in NI, with their head office based in Lurgan. They have been trading for over 50 years, and have built a network of 5 branches across NI. They put their customers at the heart of everything they do and have an excellent reputation on the market as a leader in their field.
The Role
The role as a Personal Lines Customer Advisor will sit within the Personal Lines team. Typical duties will include:
  • Advising customers on a range of home insurance products, such as home, car, van and travel insurance
  • Producing quotations
  • Processing new business applications
  • Managing the renewal process
  • Administering mid-year adjustments
  • Cross selling and up-selling on other value added products, such as legal and breakdown protection and GAP insurance
  • Updating computer systems with customer details in a timely manner
  • General administration duties
Desirable Criteria
  • One years experience in personal lines insurance products
  • Experience in using Open GI
  • Customer service experience
  • A desire to build on a career in the insurance industry
  • Good numeracy, literacy & IT skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
