Personal Insurance Advisor
Gloucester£26,000-£28,000
The duties of this role are to service, retain and grow a varied portfolio of personal insurance clients, dealing mainly with home, motor, travel policies and our exclusive Parksure scheme covering holiday lodges, park homes and static caravans. The ideal candidate will have personal lines broking experience, be an Acturis user, have as a minimum 5 GCSEs at Grade 5 or above including English and Maths, and be Cert CII qualified (or at least prepared to undertake the Cert).
What Youll Be Doing

• Service, retain, and grow a varied portfolio of personal insurance clients
• Handle policies across home, motor, travel, and our exclusive Parksure scheme (holiday lodges, park homes, static caravans)
• Manage servicing requirements including renewals, amendments, and claims support
• Maintain regular client contact to ensure cover continues to meet their needs
• Ensure compliance with FCA and ICOB requirements at all times
• Monitor and manage customer credit within agreed company limits

What Were Looking For

• GCSEs (or equivalent) with minimum 5 grades 4 or above including English and Maths
• Cert CII qualification (or willingness to study towards it)
• Insurance knowledgeprinciples, practices, and legalities of General Insurance
• Experience in personal lines, ideally within a broker environment
• IT skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) with Acturis experience desirable
• Excellent customer service, communication, and organisational skills
