IDEX Consulting Ltd is assisting a well-established Scottish law firm to recruit a Personal Injury Solicitor with 2+ years' PQE and Scottish qualification. You will own a varied PI caseload, advise clients, and progress claims from instruction to resolution within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Scottish-qualified solicitor with 2+ years’ Personal Injury experience.
• Experience across PI areas including RTA, Credit Hire, EL and Clinical Negligence.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients following personal injury and manage claims from instruction to resolution.
• Prepare pleadings, evidence and case documentation.
• Negotiate settlements with insurers and liaise with clients and other parties.
• Represent clients in court when required and provide clear, practical advice.

I'm working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm that is looking to add a Scottish Personal Injury Solicitor to its growing team. This is a great opportunity for a 2+ PQE Scottish-qualified solicitor looking to join a supportive environment, work on a varied caseload and take real ownership of their clients and cases. You'll be joining a team that is genuinely committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for its clients, with a strong track record in personal injury work.

What will you be doing?

• Advising clients following personal injury
• Managing claims from instruction through to resolution
• Preparing pleadings, evidence and case documentation
• Negotiating settlements with insurers
• Liaising with clients, insurers and other parties
• Representing clients where matters proceed to court
• Providing clear, practical advice and delivering excellent client care

What type of experience are we looking for?

I'm particularly keen to hear from Scottish-qualified solicitors with 2+ years' experience in Personal Injury, including experience in areas such as:

• RTA
• Credit Hire
• EL
• Clinical Negligence
• General Personal Injury

Experience with Proclaim would be beneficial, as would a good understanding of credit/debt hire controls.
