Job summary

G2 Legal's Manchester office is seeking an experienced Solicitor to join a Legal 500-ranked Personal Injury team. You will manage your own defendant fast-track and intermediate-track caseload, advising insurer and public sector clients on liability, strategy and settlement.

You'll handle matters through negotiation, mediation and litigation, with opportunities to mentor junior colleagues in a collaborative, ambitious environment and enjoy a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or CILEX with 3+ years’ PQE.
• Strong defendant RTA, EL and/or PL claims experience.
• Good CPR and insurance litigation knowledge.
• Confident managing own caseload and client relationships.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
• Commercial, organised and proactive approach.

Location: Manchester City Centre - Hybrid

A highly regarded Personal Injury team, ranked in Legal 500 and recognised as a top employer, is looking for an experienced Solicitor to join its Manchester office.

This is a great opportunity for a defendant insurance lawyer to handle a varied caseload across Road Traffic Accident, Employers’ Liability and Public Liability claims while working within a supportive and ambitious team.

The Role

You’ll manage your own caseload of defendant fast-track and intermediate-track claims, advising insurer and public sector clients on liability, litigation strategy and settlement.

You’ll handle matters through negotiation, mediation and litigation, with exposure to a broad range of complex casualty claims. There will also be opportunities to support and mentor junior colleagues.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX equivalent with 3+ years’ PQE
• Strong experience in defendant RTA, EL and/or PL claims
• Good knowledge of the CPR and insurance litigation
• Confident managing your own caseload and client relationships
• Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills
• Commercial, organised and proactive approach
