Job summary

Lester Aldridge is seeking a Paralegal to join our Personal Injury team in Bournemouth. You will support fee earners on clinical negligence and personal injury claims, manage files, and prepare evidence, ensuring clear client communication and timely delivery.

This hands-on role requires meticulous organisation, empathy for clients, and the ability to work collaboratively within a busy team. You will contribute to case progression, regulatory compliance, and business development efforts as

Qualifications

• Experience in litigation, preferably personal injury.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Compassionate approach to client handling.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
• Proficient IT skills and use of case management software.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of clinical negligence and personal injury cases.
• Open files, prepare retainer documents, and manage files accurately.
• Ensure deadlines are tracked and met.
• Obtain and review medical records and evidence relating to losses.
• Prepare bundles and assist with evidence collation.
• Draft letters of instruction, witness statements, and court documents.
• Liaise with clients, medical experts, counsel, and third parties.
• Keep clients updated with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Conduct legal research on liability, quantum, and procedure.
• Support fee earners and KPIs, contribute to team performance.
• Respond to new client enquiries and support business development.
