Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lawyer to join this leading law firm. The firm specialises in accident claims and is currently seeking a Personal Injury Lawyer to join its busy practice in Edinburgh.


Responsibilities


  • Handling a wide range of personal injury matters including employment liability claims, road traffic accidents (RTA) and public liability claims.

  • Preparing and conducting cases thoroughly, ensuring the ingathering of all requisite evidence.

  • Delivering a high level of client care in accordance with service level agreements.

  • Maximising income per case through recovery of damages, including hire, repairs, recovery and storage where applicable.

  • Engaging with court litigation as required and demonstrating an understanding of Court of Session and Sheriff Court procedures.

  • Demonstrating good knowledge of credit hire where beneficial to the case.


Qualifications


  • 2-4 years’ PQE (or equivalent experience).

  • Court litigation experience with familiarity of Court of Session and Sheriff Court procedures.

  • Strong organisational and client-care skills.
