Job description

A leading national law firm is looking to appoint a lawyer at mid associate/manager level to join their renowned personal injury and human rights team in London. This permanent position offers the chance to work on complex, high-profile cases with a particular focus on the contaminated blood inquiry-one of the largest public health scandals in the UK.

This is a unique opportunity for a personal injury lawyer with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE to join a claimant-focused team that regularly acts in groundbreaking and socially impactful litigation. The successful lawyer will play a central role in representing victims in high-value, multi-party claims, often with significant human rights dimensions.

The lawyer‘s role

The lawyer will manage a varied caseload of personal injury matters, with a strong emphasis on group litigation and institutional failings, particularly concerning contaminated blood products. This includes working on complex legal arguments, liaising with experts and counsel, and supporting clients throughout the legal process.

The role requires someone capable of managing their own files with minimal supervision while also contributing to wider strategic case planning. The lawyer will work alongside a highly experienced team and have the opportunity to make a genuine impact through public interest litigation.

The lawyer

To be considered for this personal injury lawyer role at mid associate/manager level, you should have:

  • A UK legal qualification with at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience.

  • A strong background in claimant personal injury litigation.

  • Experience in group claims, human rights, or public law is highly desirable.

  • Exceptional client care, drafting and case management skills.

  • A genuine commitment to justice, equality, and supporting vulnerable clients.

In Return?

The successful lawyer will receive a competitive salary in the region of £55,000 – £70,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to work on cases of national significance within a supportive and principled legal environment.
