Summary

Our client, a Lloyds Underwriting Agency, is looking for a Motor Claims Handler to join their expanding Motor department in the Essex office. The role involves handling a caseload of Personal Injury claims.

Main Duties:
  • Management of Claims through the applicable Portals
  • Negotiation of policyholder and third-party claims to settlement, including Personal Injury
  • Communicating with brokers
  • Instructing and liaising with solicitors and adjusters from the agreed panel
  • Assist with internal and external audit processes
  • Liaising with underwriters on claims issues
  • Providing excellent service to internal and external customers
Essential Skills Required:
  • Previous experience within a similar claims role
  • Experience dealing with Personal Injury Motor claims
  • Understanding of RTA and Credit Hire
Desirable:
  • Good organisation skills
  • Knowledge of MOJ portal
