JOB REF: MS0624

I am looking for a Personal Assistant / Carer to join one other existing PA to share the workload, provide cover, and allow my husband to have some spare time.

I am bed bound following a stroke, can only move my head, have almost no communication, and am PEG fed.

My current personal care is provided by a care company, my husband, and another PA. Responsibilities include personal care, working with care staff or my husband, hand washing, hair washing, and providing company.

You will receive:

• A rate of pay of £13.38 per hour
• A pension if eligible
• 5.6 weeks per year pro-rata
• Full certificated training on all aspects of the role

Hours available:

• 18 hours per week, usually Monday – Friday, between 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
• Opportunity for additional hours on occasions in relation to holidays and sickness

What’s Required:

• Assist with personal care, general domestic duties, hand and hair washing
• Flexibility in working hours is essential
• Availability for emergency cover would be appreciated
• Support with use and care of a suction and PEG machine occasionally; training provided
• An enhanced DBS check, paid for by the employer
