I am recruiting a Personal Assistant to support & assist my husband with personal care, everyday living activities, and therapies following a traumatic brain injury. He is a young 68 and enjoys music, TV & films, snooker & pool, and going out. You will be working in our home but also required to assist in outside activities to provide a fulfilling life.
I want to add to my existing team of caring, positive, and perceptive staff who want to actively contribute to and support my husband’s recovery. You will need to be fun-loving, enthusiastic, and patient.
It is essential that you hold a full and clean driving licence and have access to your own vehicle, due to the location of the workplace and shift patterns.
All relevant training will be provided. Care experience is preferred. Life experience is essential.
An enhanced DBS (Police check) will be required, and the Employer will meet the cost.
Hours required: 20-35 hours per week with shifts typically 5-10 hours, Monday to Sunday. The specific hours will be discussed to fit with the current team and your availability. Flexibility is required to cover sick and holiday leave within the team.
Compensation and Benefits: £13.48 per hour, 5.6 weeks holiday pro-rata, pension if eligible, full certificated training on all aspects of the role completed in the workplace.
