Overview

Job title: Personal Home Care Assistant (Culloden, Inverness)

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of daily living including building a supportive and responsive relationship towards care needs.
• Assist with washing, dressing, continence care and hoisting.
• Meal preparation including cooking.
• Dispensing medication.
• General housekeeping duties.
• Use of a ceiling hoist while being mindful of moving and handling techniques at all times.

Availability Required

Initially: Sundays 9am-9pm also for holiday cover, sickness, etc. Following a probationary period shifts can be combined to allow for 24 hour care cover including support during overnight shifts. This option is not compulsory.

Salary

£14.75 per hour plus holiday allowance (pro rata) and 3% employer pension contribution.
