Hi, I am Donald, living in Scone, Perthshire. I am recruiting for 2 Personal Development Workers to join my team to help me live my good life.
People who know and love me describe me as intelligent, thoughtful, considerate, courteous, and curious. I am also kind, fun-loving, and passionate about the outdoors.
Living my good life involves enjoying the wind in my face and water in my hair. I love running, cycling, long walks in the countryside or on the beach, and swimming in the sea. At home, I enjoy playing cards, board games, completing jigsaws, arts & crafts, and cooking and baking. I am good at chess. I also enjoy reading, singing, being part of my local community, visiting church, and spending time with my family.
I need support to live the life I want. I am looking for team members who are honest, kind, emotionally mature, and able to offer calm reassurance and guidance. You must be active, adventurous, and have a 'get up and go' spirit to make the most of each day, whether at the beach, cycling, or out for a run.
The support I need includes managing my home, staying healthy, safe, and well, and reconnecting with my community. Support will be provided during the day, evening, and overnight. Knowledge of autism is a bonus but not essential; the right people are more important as training will be provided.
Having a full driver's license is essential for this position.
