Role: PMLD Support Assistant - Complex Needs

Contract: Full Time / Part Time

Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm

Rate: £95 - £112 per day

Setting: Secondary SEN School

Location: Greenwich Borough

Are you looking for a full or part-time role to balance work around your daily life, or perhaps a full-time position that offers the opportunity to secure a permanent role?

We are seeking a dedicated PMLD Support Assistant to support children diagnosed with severe Autism (ASD). As a PMLD Support Assistant, you will follow an EHCP and assist with academic support. Personal care responsibilities are involved. We are looking for someone who is quick-thinking and adaptable, as each day presents new challenges.

Ideal PMLD Support Assistant:

  • A strong understanding of children with PMLD.
  • Contributing to support plans and strategies tailored to each student's needs.
  • Patience when working with children.
  • A proactive mindset to thrive in a dynamic environment.

PMLD Support Assistant Standard Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN, ideally PMLD.
  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.
  • CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, where possible.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
