Job Description:

I am a 24-year-old young man seeking a Personal Care/Home Care Assistant to join my support team. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting and promoting independence for individuals with Autism and other medical conditions such as epilepsy, mental health issues, and mobility challenges.

My disabilities significantly impact my physical and mental health, and I require daily support with living and healthcare needs.

When well, I enjoy hobbies like playing guitar and spending time with my dog.

What You Will Receive:
  • £10.50-11.56 per hour, depending on experience and successful completion of probation, competencies, and training
  • A pension scheme if eligible
  • 5.6 weeks of paid leave per year, pro-rated
  • Full certified training on all aspects of the role
Hours Available:
  • Minimum of 24 hours per week, to be worked in a single 24-hour shift including overnight sleep-in, on a 4-week rota
  • Occasional additional hours may be available during holidays and sickness
Requirements:
  • Support with personal and medical care
  • Experience with medication handling and administration (desirable)
  • Full driving license and own vehicle with relevant insurance
  • Flexibility in working hours, including night shifts
  • Weekend work
  • Reliability and a professional attitude
  • Comfortable with dogs, as there is a pet dog at residence
  • Caring, compassionate, enthusiastic, and eager to make a difference
  • Good communication skills, both spoken and written, and computer literacy
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS check (cost covered by employer)
  • Non-smokers only
