Job Opportunity: Personal Care Attendant (PCA)

We offer a variety of per diem workable schedules, competitive pay, and advanced technology, including an agency-supplied iPhone. Every day, we make a difference in the lives of clients, and as a member of our nursing team, so will you!

Weekday Shifts (8am - 5pm) - Flexible shifts based on your availability. Currently, only per diem positions are available, with no more than 20 hours a week.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients and their families in their homes with non-medical personal care and home management tasks.
  • Support activities such as dressing, bathing, grooming, housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, transportation, toileting, and mobility.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, plus completion of the University of Vermont Health Network Home Health & Hospice PCA Training program (a 1-day program for experienced recruits or full PCA training for those without prior experience).
  • Successful completion of PCA coursework and passing the required exam. We will support and guide you through this process.
  • Maintain satisfactory standing with the Adult Abuse Registry, Child Abuse & Neglect Registry, Vermont Criminal Information Center, and OIG.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable registered vehicle with insurance, appropriate to the position.
Compensation

Pay ranges from $16.40 to $20.94 per hour.
