Job Description:

Personal Care Assistants required to support an active and outgoing 34-year-old lady with cerebral palsy, a full-time wheelchair user, based in Bristol BS11. Various DAY shifts available, including weekdays and weekends, with hours negotiable.

Due to the nature of the role, female carers are required. Fluency in English is necessary for communication. No previous experience needed; training provided. Pay is £11.44/hour employed or £15/hour self-employed. Flexible shifts of around 10 hours are available, including:

  • Tuesday 9:30 am – 6 pm
  • Thursday 9:30 am – 6 pm
  • Friday 6 pm
  • Saturday 10:30 am – 6 pm
  • Sunday 10:30 am – 5 pm
What does the job involve?
  • Providing daily personal care and support within the home and community
  • Assisting with hoisting, washing/bathing, dressing, hygiene, toileting, eating, drinking, and medication (guidance provided)
  • Domestic tasks: cooking, cleaning, laundry
  • Driving a wheelchair accessible vehicle for outings
  • Full training provided
