AskJules is looking for a team of open-minded and reliable PAs to support our client, a wheelchair user beginning their PhD in Management Research. From September, they will be studying at Kings College London and living in postgraduate halls.

Start: September 2025

Rota: Live-In / 7 days on / 7 days off

Location: Kings College London, Strand (WC2R 2LS)

Pay: £200 per day / £1,400 per week worked

Free accommodation whilst on shift (Own en-suite room)

About the Job:

Our client is moving from Bristol to start their PhD at Kings College London. They are looking for intuitive, friendly, and inclusive care assistants to support them daily, ensuring care is delivered respectfully and discreetly. The client will be living in postgraduate university halls, and a dedicated PA room with an en-suite will be provided.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Personal Care
  • Health Care
  • Social Support
  • Housekeeping / Domestic duties

Care experience is welcomed but not essential, as full training will be provided.

About our Client:

Our client is an active and fun-loving individual eager to explore London. They are a full-time wheelchair user with Functional Neurological Disorder, Non-Epileptic Seizures, and Dissociative Disorder. Full training on their care needs will be provided.

The client is non-binary and seeks a trustworthy, personable individual to assist with daily life, ensuring the best quality of life. They are excited about their PhD and engaging in new activities, sports, and social events. Your responsibilities will encompass all aspects of daily support to enhance their comfort and well-being.

As described by the client: "I'm a chatty, social person who loves to laugh and try new things. I enjoy sports, theatre, quiz nights, and nature walks. I want to make the most of life in London, despite my health challenges."
