Job summary

UKCIL Ltd is seeking a Care Assistant for night shifts in Southport (PR9). The role is 20 hours per week, with shifts 10pm–8am, supporting a wheelchair-using client with oxygen, epilepsy, and medication needs.

Duties include night-time care, preparing medication, morning personal care, and helping the client get up and dressed. DBS disclosure will be required. Training will be provided; non-smoker; dog friendly.

Qualifications

• Experience with night-time care for adults.
• Ability to assist with medication administration.
• Provide personal care and morning support.
• DBS disclosure required.

Responsibilities

• Provide night-time care from 10pm to 8am for the client.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed.
• Assist with morning personal care and getting dressed.
• Ensure safety due to oxygen dependency and epilepsy.

• He is a very lively and cheeky personality. Fulltime wheelchair user, oxygen dependant, epileptic, peg for medication, has apnoea at night.
• Duties will include seeing to any care needs in the night, preparing medication, Personal care in the morning and getting him up and dressed.
• Female due to other children in the home.
• Non smoker
• Dog friendly.
• Training will be given. Full DBS will be required.
