Job summary

UKCIL Ltd is seeking a Care Assistant in Bristol (BS10) to support a 44-year-old male with generalized dystonia at home. The role is 25 hours per week at £16 per hour, with PAYE payroll and the option to work as self-employed. Shifts are Monday to Friday from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM, located in Southmead area.

The role covers personal care, mobility assistance, light domestic tasks, and transport support within the home, with no DBS required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: washing hair, helping with shoes/socks, emptying bedroom commode; (cannot access downstairs toilet).
• Transport at Home: help transferring in & out of wheelchair, using bedroom lifts, and a stair lift.
• Domestic duties: laundry, cleaning, cooking meals, preparing medication, shopping and errands.
• Physical Assistance at home: help using walking bars, leg stretching exercises, wearing foot splint and back brace.

Location: Southmead, North Bristol, BS10

Looking for care assistant to assist gentleman with generalized Dystonia, he lives in his own home with 74 year old farther and Labrador dog.

Monday to Friday: shift pattern 10:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Gross pay £16.00per hour employed, 25 hours per week at £400.00 PAYE

I can also accept SELF EMPLOYED with gross pay at £16.00per hour.

Available to employees are:

• Statutory Sick Pay sick (SSP) pay up to 28 weeks at £123.25 per week.
