Job summary

UKCIL Ltd is seeking dedicated Personal Assistants to support a young lady in the Haltwhistle area. The role offers 35 hours per week (full-time) or 20 hours per week (part-time) with a rate of £14.67 per hour in Haltwhistle, NE49.

The job focuses on enabling independence and community participation through personalised care and activities. Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, safety, and assisting with social outings and mobility tasks.

What You'll Be Doing

• Personal care and domestic support
• Meal preparation
• Support to remain independent
• Social and leisure activities (gym, swimming, cinema, meals out)
• Community access and participation
• Medication support
• Moving & handling

About the Individual

• Lives independently with family and a support team
• Attends a day service 4 days per week (9am-3:30pm)
• Enjoys cooking, art, music and trying new activities
• Loves being social and out in the community

What We're Looking For

• Patient, caring, and reliable
• Confident supporting individuals with disabilities
• Happy to undertake repetitive tasks
• Experienced in 1:1 support (preferred)
• Committed to a long-term role
• Proactive and safety-conscious always

Working Pattern

You will work as part of a rota alongside a team of PAs.

Weekday Shifts (Tues-Fri)

• 3:30pm - 10:00pm
• 10:00pm - 7:00am (Sleep-in)
• 7:00am - 9:00am

Weekend Shifts (Sat-Mon)

• 7:00am - 10:00pm
• 10:00pm - 7:00am (Sleep-in)

Includes evenings, mornings, and sleep-ins
