Personal Care Assistant/Home Care Assistant

Job Details:
  • Position supporting a young lady with complex health needs in her family home.
  • Part of a small friendly team assisting with daily activities and light house duties.
  • Waking nights from Thursday to Saturday.
  • Bank/relief staff for holiday and sickness cover.
Salary & Benefits:
  • £12.50-£13.50 per hour, with potential increases after probation and competency completion.
  • Holiday entitlement of 5.6 weeks per year (pro rata).
  • Training provided in clinical care, epilepsy, moving and handling, and first aid.
  • Employer covers the cost of DBS check.
Requirements:
  • Supporting activities within the home and outside, ensuring safety and resource management.
  • Assisting with personal care, including PEG/medication and feeding (training provided).
  • Managing medical items and medication, ensuring stocks are renewed.
  • Using medical equipment safely and effectively.
  • Organising daily activities and supporting domestic duties like cleaning and laundry.
  • Full driving license required.
  • Successful completion of a 6-month probation period.
