Job Purpose:I am a friendly lady with mobility problems who is seeking a PA to enable me to enjoy my home and assist me with everyday living tasks.This job role will include supporting me to access the community by accompanying me to social and leisure activities, such as my choir sessions. Supporting me to maintain my home environment by carrying out light household cleaning duties. Assisting me with personal care, by helping me to wash my back and legs in the shower. Supporting me to maintain good nutrition by preparing me lunch and a light tea. Assisting me to do online grocery orders and organising my medication into a dosette box.I am an outgoing lady who enjoys singing and learning new things. I attend choir sessions, as well as a support group for the elderly and I have recently taken up Tai Chi.This position is to provide holiday cover for my existing PA and as such, hours will be offered on a variable basis.Location: Diss

Summary terms and conditions:

• The rate of pay for this position is £15 per hour
• You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role
• Access to free Care Skills training for employed workers
• Hours and days of work: to provide cover for my existing PA. Hours on a variable basis.

The post is subject to the following:

• A satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer
• Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer
• Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months
• Should this job role include any of the following duties: food handling, chemical handling (general household cleaning products) or manual handling or the handling of medication, you will be required to undertake annual training.
