Personal Care Assistant for a young woman, P/T 13 hours @ £14.30/hr in YO32 - FTE - £27.9k - York - YO32

We are expanding our team of carers and are looking for a reliable friendly carer for the following hours.
  1. Saturday 8am to 4pm
  2. Sunday 9.30am to 2.30pm

There is also the option of extra hours to cover holiday/sickness if required.
Contracted hours of 13 hours @£14.30ph.

FEMALE applicants only due to personal care.

You would be supporting a happy young woman with PMLD in her active social life at a 2:1 ratio. Responsibilities include:
  1. Personal care
  2. Moving and handling
  3. Support with eating and drinking
  4. PEG feeds
  5. Accessing her local community and days out

Carers must be physically able and willing to push a wheelchair and support in moving and handling procedures.
