Job description

Personal Care Assistant for a young person P/T@ £13.74/hr in Morpeth - FTE - £26.8k

Apply at UKCIL.com. Reference: 4cca933e

I am looking to find someone who can support me to continue to live as independently as possible in my own home. I face several challenges everyday due to my mental health, physical health, and confirmed ADHD (currently on waiting list for adhd treatment).

I have multiple health conditions. Some of the main big ones that affect me the most are Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). Please note that not all my conditions are listed in this advert – I have a lot more than what’s mentioned on here. Most of my main conditions fluctuate often, sometimes even as often as hourly changes. I have good, bad and mixed days - so not each day is the same

I would like a personal assistant who has a good understanding of my difficulties and needs. I will need to build trust with you at a slow pace.

Hours of work – 6 hrs per week but this would be a gradual build up to this and some weeks my health may dictate less/more hours.

Rate of Pay: £13.74 per hour Car Driver - would be a huge advantage as public transport is a big struggle for me. A DBS and references will be required, and these will be requested by Northumberland County Council.
