Personal Care Assistant for a young person F/T@ £18.00/hr in Northolt - FTE - £35.1k

The client is based in West London. He is a non-verbal 29-year-old with severe autism, complex needs, high sensory processing needs, obsessive-compulsive disorder, healthcare needs, learning disability, and challenging behaviour. He enjoys routine, engaging in various activities, having fun, and being around people who show interest in him. He thrives on encouragement and motivation from those close to him. The client is very close to his family, so the care team works closely alongside them. We are seeking an experienced PA to join his care team who is caring, compassionate, energetic, and easy to get along with. Shifts vary between 12 hours, Monday to Friday. The position is FULL TIME only.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Personal care tasks such as toileting, showering, physiotherapy, medication management, etc.
  • Supporting health needs like desensitization, sensory regulation, muscle cramps, etc.
  • Domestic duties including maintaining a clean home, laundry, cleaning dishes, cooking, etc.
  • Organizing, preparing, and accompanying him to appointments, outdoor activities, trips, holidays, or events.
