We are looking to recruit a team of Support Workers to provide 24/7 support for a 27-year-old female living independently. The role involves 12-hour shifts, including nights, with a team of 8 staff members (male/female).
This young lady has Moderate learning difficulties, Autism, ADHD, and Hypotonia. The goal is to support her independence and quality of life.
Support involves assisting with daily activities, outings, and domestic duties, ensuring safety and promoting her interests and hobbies. She enjoys walking, swimming, trampolining, and shopping, but shopping should be limited to prevent overstimulation.
Experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Drivers are preferred but not mandatory. A mobility car is available for her use.
The role requires high standards of personal care, empathy, teamwork, and good communication skills. The candidate should be physically fit and in good health.
Hours: 12-hour shifts, including nights, with flexible support hours to be discussed.
Pay rate: £13.09/hour for daytime and waking nights; £11.44/hour for sleep-ins. Holidays: 5.6 weeks/year pro-rata.
