Make a Real Difference!We’re looking for a professional, upbeat, and reliable individual to join a small, friendly support team working with a young man with Duchene muscular dystrophy in the Bedlington area. This is a rewarding role that’s all about building connection, offering support, and bringing positive energy to everyday life.About the Role:

  • 18 hours per week @ £13.74 used flexibly to support social outings and activities.
  • Weekly travel to wheelchair football training in Birmingham, supporting participation in a much-loved sport.
  • This role is about building a connection, promoting independence, and making a real difference to everyday life.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Someone reliable, patient, and good-humoured.
  • Experience with physical disabilities or willingness to learn and someone who can assist with mobility and personal care needs.
  • Comfortable with driving longer distances – full driving license essential and ability to drive a mobility van. (the driving will be shared with a family member)
  • Non-smoker.
  • A genuine interest in supporting someone to live life to the fullest.
