Position Overview

A full-time position has become available for a personal assistant to join my team just outside Morpeth. This role offers a friendly, family-oriented setting.

About Me

I am an adventurous individual who enjoys speedboating, theatre, discos, walks, festivals, and more. I require 24-hour support with a 2:1 care ratio. I am confined to a wheelchair, and I am looking for someone with a caring, considerate, reliable, and bubbly personality, as I love laughter and humor.

Responsibilities

1. Cooking nutritious meals
2. Providing medical and personal care
3. Supporting my active social life by accompanying me on outings and supporting my independence at home

Requirements

• Own car is essential for transportation to my property and to drive my accessible vehicle
• Medical or nursing background is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided
• Non-smoker
• Driver with a clean license

Shift Details

Shifts are on a rota basis. The role includes at least 1 waking night shift every Monday and 2 day shifts of 6.5 hours on Wednesday and Thursday. The following week, there are 3 waking night shifts, ideally on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, but this can be flexible and will be discussed at the interview.

Night Shift

Waking night shift is a 12-hour shift from 9 pm to 9 am.
