Personal Care Assistant for a young lady in Thornaby

I am a 27 year old female looking for a personal care assistant to support me in my day-to-day life, from personal care to social and recreational activities and fully supporting me in my overall care.

Hours of work: 12 hours a week over 6 days. Break down of hours will be discussed further at interview.

Key Duties: Supporting with personal care, attending medical appointments alongside me, household tasks such as cleaning, shopping support, support with recreational activities such as horse-riding.

Essential Skills and Traits: The successful candidates will have some experience of supporting people with additional needs such as physical disabilities and mental health. Experience of supporting someone with a diagnosis of Autism would be desirable. Due to personal care being required only female applicants will be considered for the role in line with Schedule 9 Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
