(b15de) We are looking to recruit a committed support worker to enable a 10-year-old girl, who has a diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy, to access the community on a 1:1 basis away from her parents and sibling.

This young girl is lively and enjoys activities such as playing chase (at a slower pace), role play like shopping, and helping with real shopping tasks.

Rate of Pay: £13.09 per hour

A car driver with business use insurance and a car capable of holding a wheelchair in the boot is essential.

Hours Breakdown:

  • 5 hours per week, flexible to meet the child's needs
  • Additional 5 hours during school holidays
  • Support may be in evenings or weekends
  • Hours will be agreed in advance

Services include personal care, social and leisure activities, and support to maintain independence.

Training required includes safeguarding, moving & handling, understanding challenging behavior, and first aid.

Transportation:

  • Full UK driving license
  • Own personal car

Medical:

  • Safe administration of medication

Schedule, Pay & Hours:

  • Support hours include mornings, afternoons, evenings, and possibly overnight
  • Pay rate: £13.09/hr
  • Weekly: £65
