(a9d33f67) To provide support with a young adult who has physical and learning disabilities due to a brain injury.
Main Duties:
The main duty is to support the young adult in attending college, including transport, support on campus, and in teaching sessions. Support hours are:
Total 25 hours per week.
Support also includes facilitating access to community and leisure activities, supporting independence, and developing interests in audio/visual technology. Support with personal care, manual handling, and possibly PEG feeding is required. A manual driving license and use of a Motability vehicle are necessary. The role is full-time, with flexible hours outside college support, and may involve two PA's supporting the individual.
Pay rate is £13.09 per hour, with holiday entitlement and expenses covered.

Additional requirements include an Enhanced DBS check, training in safeguarding, moving & handling, and continence care.
