The family is seeking an enabler to support a young man with socialising, accessing the local community, visiting places of interest, and taking a person-centred approach to all activities he chooses to engage in.

The young man enjoys going out in the community, browsing shops, bowling, swimming, walks in the park, and activities with peers. He likes watching TV, going to McDonald's, and Sambuca (only at Cinderella ball). He dislikes crowded places and busy restaurants.

Main Duties: Support independence, basic life skills, social interactions, and access to community activities. Assist with travel training for metro and bus use. Act as a 'support buddy', encouraging interests and a person-centred approach. Be flexible to cover holidays and sickness leave if possible.

Hours of work: 5 hours/week (52 weeks) plus an additional 5 hours/week during school holidays (13 weeks).

Rates of Pay: £13.09 per hour
