Personal Care Assistant for a senior lady P/T@ £12.21/hr in Billingham - BILLINGHAM - TS23

Also to provide holiday and sickness cover when required

*Due to the nature of this role involving personal care, we can only accept applications from female candidates**

An opportunity has arisen to join a team providing support to a lady living with MS in the Billingham area.

The successful candidate will be reliable and have a positive approach to work.

Experience of using a hoist and familiarity with one-person hoisting is desirable, but full training will be provided.

Cover is required on alternative weekends and will include a split shift.

Proposed hours are:

• 8 am to 10:15 am
• 11:45 am to 12 pm
• 3 pm to 5 pm
• 9 pm to 10 pm

(Total daily hours = 5.5)

Duties to include:

• Assist with personal care
• Assist with transfer from wheelchair to recliner chair
• Preparation of evening meal
• Support with personal care
• Assistance with medication

A degree of flexibility will be required to meet our client’s needs.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a training session.

As our client is clinically vulnerable, it is desirable that the applicant is fully Covid vaccinated.

An enhanced DBS check will be required; the cost will be covered by the employer.
