Personal Care Assistant for a senior gentleman F/T@ £13.35/hr in Yarm - FTE - £26.0k - Yarm - TS15

Personal Assistant – 36 hours per week – Yarm - Rate of pay: £13.35 per hour


Our client is a middle aged man living with a spinal injury, who is looking for a new PA to join an established team. He enjoys going out socialising, shopping trips and days out. He also uses a wheelchair.

The current vacancy is for 36 hours per week with some opportunities for overtime.

Required tasks will include assisting with getting out of bed, showering, dressing, and putting back to bed, cooking and preparing food, general house-work, going shopping and days out.

Experience with spinal injury and bowel care would be an advantage.

You will be flexible in your availability as shifts will be worked on a rota basis with no set days or times of work. Experience in providing care in a formal or informal setting is preferable but not essential.

For insurance purposes you must be aged over 25 and have a full, clean, UK driving licence.

Successful applicants will be subject to a DBS check.
